Frequently asked questions

Does DayWave read my system calendar?

No. DayWave records completed actions that you enter yourself. It does not currently read or upload system calendar content.

Can I use DayWave without an account?

Yes. You can record actions and view progress entirely on-device. An account is required only for cross-device sync, cloud restore, and Growth Partner features.

How do iPhone, iPad, and Mac stay in sync?

Sign in to the same DayWave account on each device, then choose manual or automatic sync. Manual mode runs only when you select Sync Now. Automatic mode runs when entries change or when the app returns to the foreground.

How do I assign an entry to a specific project?

Include #ProjectName or 【ProjectName】 in the entry. You can also move entries or rename a project later from its detail view.

Can my Growth Partner read my entries?

No. A partner sees only the five growth-attribute totals and, if you allow it, your activity in the last seven days, streak, and avatar. Original entry text, project names, and calendar content are never shared with a partner.

Can I keep recording after the trial ends?

Yes. After the seven-day full trial, Today and progress from the last seven days remain available. Longer history and the ability to initiate a partner invitation require Pro.

How do I restore a purchase or request a refund?

Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed in to the same Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple through its Report a Problem service.

Does deleting the app delete cloud data?

No. Uninstalling removes local data from that device. Cloud account information must be deleted separately through an account and data request.
